I read Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling more than a month ago now (and I fear I’m beginning to forget my thoughts about this particular book, as opposed to general thoughts about the series). This is the sixth book in the seven-book series.
I do remember thinking that this was not the strongest installment in the grand series, but it did move the story forward. I also found this book sad — in a way that seemed to be leading up to the sadness of the final book in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
My brief thoughts on previous books in the series.
